Niclin Coronavirus Update 23/03/20

Business as ‘Usual’

Last week Niclin implemented its business continuity plan in response to the rapidly evolving situation that is coronavirus, with all office staff working from home. By all accounts this measure has been a big success with Microsoft Teams assisting in our day-to-day roles and office interactions.

Over the weekend the government announced several new steps to control the curve, including shutting down the hospitality sector. Construction however has been deemed one of Australia’s essential industries and as such we remain business as usual unless notified otherwise.

Niclin remains committed to the health and safety of all our staff, especially those on site. We will continue to follow health organisation and government recommendations to prevent the spread of coronavirus at our sites. Effective immediately we will be introducing the 1 person per 4sqm area and enforcing the 1.5m social distancing guidelines wherever possible.

Niclin will continue to update our network should the situation change at any of our sites, or our situation be affected by government recommendations or controls.

Finally, thank you to all those doing their part, keeping Australia together in these times.
